So come join us for a day of west coast fishing on board our brand-new Duckworth 30XL Offshore! Pender Harbour is surrounded by numerous islands, inlets and other ocean features that provide plenty of opportunity to catch fish. Even on those windy days, that can churn up some rough waters in the Georgia Straight, we are uniquely situated close to the Agamemnon Channel – which gains us access to the more protected fishing grounds of the Sechelt and Jervis Inlets. We fish for Chinook, Coho and Pink salmon, as well as Lingcod and other rockfish. Prawning is often bountiful, and we always aim to have some traps set before all trips.

We offer full, half day and custom fishing charters for up to 8 passengers. Our boat is kitted with Islander MR3 reels on Shimano Technium rods, Scotty Performance High Speed downriggers, and cutting edge Raymarine sonar and charting technology.

There is a barbeque, so feel free to bring some burgers for lunch or throw your fresh catch straight onto the grill! It also features satellite radio/marine weather across a 7-speaker sound system, and stand-up head (washroom).

Remember that luck is what happens when preparedness meets opportunity, so make sure that you show up ready. When targeting salmon, we fish around the tides, so timing is key. Please make the effort to arrive at the specified departure time.

You are responsible for acquiring licenses for anyone wishing to fish. The good news is attaining your tidal license online is both time and cost effective. Please make sure everyone fishing is in possession of a physical copy of their license. Be sure to add the ‘Salmon Stamp’ option to your license.

Kids under 16 can fish for free, but you still need to complete the application and acquire a license for them.

Don’t forget a cooler and ice to transport your catch home at the end of the day!
